The use of reclaimed asphalt, or recycling, has become a necessity. Governments increasingly want the reclaimed asphalt from old roads re-used in an effort to be more environmentally friendly. Recycled asphalt (RA or RAP) also can provide you with cost savings on several fronts.
Nilang provides several options to help your recycling and cost-saving efforts. Regardless of the system you choose, modern Nilang plant technology will provide a quality recycling process and product.
1. 25-40% of RAC utilisation possible into the mixer depending upon the plant system, mix temperature and moisture content.
2. RAC and virgin aggregate dosed separately into the mixer
3. Retrofit on all plants
40% of RAC utilisation possible into the dryer depending upon the plant system and moisture content.
60% utilisation possible for hot recycled material
1. Stone mastic asphalt (SMA), also called stone-matrix asphalt, Nilang team developed SMA system to dosed SMA materials (fibre) directly into the mixer.
2. Retrofit on all plants.
Nilang team developed solution to dose liquid directly into mixer according to batch weight.
Nilang offering Foam bitumen system as part of low temperature technology.
Foam bitumen, also known as foam asphalt, is a unique form of bitumen that has several advantages in the asphalt industry. These advantages include:
1. Improved workability: Foam bitumen allows for better workability and handling of asphalt mixtures due to its lower viscosity. This makes it easier to lay and compact the asphalt, resulting in a more uniform and smoother pavement surface.
2. Environmentally friendly: Foam bitumen can be produced at lower temperatures compared to conventional asphalt, reducing energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions. This makes it a more sustainable and environmentally friendly option for road construction.
3. Longer pavement lifespan: The foaming process helps to evenly distribute the bitumen within the asphalt mixture, resulting in improved binding and adhesion properties. This leads to a more durable and longer-lasting pavement, reducing the need for frequent maintenance and repairs.
4. Reduced rutting and cracking: Foam bitumen has excellent elastic recovery properties, which improves its resistance to rutting and cracking. This helps to maintain the structural integrity of the pavement, even under heavy traffic loads and extreme weather conditions.
5. Cost-effective: The use of foam bitumen can lead to cost savings in terms of material and energy consumption. It requires less bitumen compared to conventional asphalt mixtures, reducing overall material costs. Additionally, lower production temperatures translate into reduced energy costs during manufacturing.
Overall, foam bitumen offers numerous advantages in the asphalt industry, including improved workability, environmental sustainability, longer pavement lifespan, enhanced performance, and cost-effectiveness.
Nilang offering multiple combustion technology for asphalt plant.
Low pressure burner-
Actually Combustion depend on how much maximum atomization occur from nozzle. If we break fuel particles in tiny droplets with help of dry pressurised air, effective complete combustion takes place with low pressure fuel. Pump life greatly incresed.
No breakdown due to pump failure.
High pressure burner - Regular pressure jet and modulating burner. Combustion takes place due to pressurised fuel and back pressure relief valve. Backward curved fan to provide primary and secondary air in synchronize manner.
Pallet burner-
Pellet Burners are CO2 neutral, automatic, easier to use than oil burners, and low in emissions of particulates. Pellets are made with sawdust from the wood processing industry (furniture, pallets, lumber, etc.).
Pellet Burners are carbon neutral because the carbon released during combustion is equivalent to that absorbed by the tree during its growth. One of the major advantages of wood pellet Burners is that they consist of automatic ignition and power modulation, making it very easy for people to use. The energy efficiency, extremely low energy consumption, and the cheap pellets make pellet stoves way better than fossil fuel or electricity powered burners. The pellet burner don’t require complex installation procedures. This is another great pro for pellet burners.
No professional is needed for pellet stove installation and you can do it all by yourself by following the user manual and saving yourself money.
